Utrecht Science Park
Utrecht Science Park is a vibrant, dynamic and inspiring place to work, study and interact. It encompasses the prestigious Utrecht University. The park is also home to the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (HU), University Medical Centre Utrecht, Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital and many other scientific organisations. Utrecht Science Park is a complete campus that offers a mix of science, education, health facilities, private companies, (student) accommodation, shops and various other facilities. Every day, some 51,000 students and 27,000+ employees flock to this area, which can be easily accessed by public transport and from the A27 and A28 motorways. In 2018, USP was connected to the express tram network.
USP offers prime locations for companies in the Life Sciences and Health and Sustainability sector. The Prinses Máxima Centre for paediatric oncology, Bioceros, Genmab, Merus and Nutricia Research are just some of the organisations already established at Utrecht Science Park. Purpose-built business accommodation is available for innovative start-ups and scale-ups as well as for large enterprises. The Life Sciences Incubator and UtrechtInc are based at the park and construction of the Accelerator multi-tenant building will begin shortly.
Besides, the International School Utrecht is projected to be relocated to a brand new accommodation situated in the heart of the Utrecht Science Park, teaching 1.200 students every day.
